Hi Mary, I, too, went past your place in Alaska and I bought your book. I would love to have other books that you have or are writing about Alaska. I would like to know how your family is doing as you and I are about the same age. How did your family do after the effects of the earthquate. How was living in Alaska all those years affect your family. I would like to know as much as possible as I love true stories about people lives. I have written you twice but each time I got the letter back. I will re-send it since now I have your mailing address. Thanks. Faye

I have just read this book while on holiday in Alaska, we went past Sherman City Hall on the way to Denali. the photos are great and i highly recommend the book a story of determination and hope. It would be good to know what all the family are doing now .
